Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is a first-person shooter game released by Activision in 2020. Developed by Treyarch and Raven Software. Released in the overall world on Nov 13, 2020 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X / S. This is the 6th time in the Black Ops series and the 17th time in the Call of Duty series as a whole. This is the second Call of Duty game co-developed by the two studios since Modern Warfare 3 in 2011.
The Black Ops Cold War campaign was set up in chronological order between Call of Duty: Black Ops (2010) and Black Ops II (2012) in the early 1980s. It revolves around the search for the Soviet Spy Perseus, which is allegedly the purpose of destabilizing the United States and proclaiming a shift in the balance of power to the Soviet Union.  
The multiplayer part of the game introduced new game modes, new map dynamics, and elements, and inherited some design decisions from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. In addition to the Battle Pass, it includes free maps and weapons released each season, just like Modern Warfare. The Cold War also incorporates campaigns and multiplayer stories into Modern Warfare, building a connected universe that spans multiple Call of Duty subseries.



Developed by Raven and Sledgehammer Games, this game was not intended to be part of the Black Ops franchise. However, due to the difference between the two teams, Activision has given Treyarch responsibility for game production in 2019, with Raven acting as the code developer. The game's marketing campaign began in August 2020 and included slide projectors for specific content providers, puzzles for fans to solve online, and a website showing the historical events of the Cold War. In October 2020, the public multiplayer beta version of the game became available.
During the beta period, players will be able to enjoy the classic Black Ops War in 6v6 and 12v12 combined arms scenarios and a new 40-player mode called Fire Team Dirty Bomb. The beta version features a selection of multiplayer maps from the game set in different parts of the world during the Cold War.
